MARGARET and CLAYTON GRAY Clayton Gray originally from Dominion City and Margaret (Hughes) Gray from Anola are celebrating 50 years of marriage. While Margaret was nursing in Emerson, one of her patients was a hockey teammate of Clayton's. After being told of this nice nurse, Clayton asked her out. She said she had to work. However, the mother of the teammate's girlfriend happened to work with Margaret and agreed to cover her shift. Obviously this was all set up ahead of time. LOL The rest is history, that was February, 1965, they married October 2, 1965. There will be a "Come and Go" sandwich reception in their honor Saturday, October 3 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at Assiniboia Downs in the Finish Line.
